Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for TG structure, piping, insulation, pumps, hangers, supports etc.
Also IBR approvals of critical piping drawings & construction, conducting hydraulic tests of pipes, preparing protocols etc
Ensure sequential arrival & proper storage of materials at the site
Ensure proper issue of materials to contractors for uninterrupted work at site
Ensure sequential release of construction drawings at site.
Successful commissioning of all systems while delivering PG test parameters
Provision of safe working platforms to all equipment
Handover the plant to Operating team with the finger-print data of machines, critical spares, special tools & tackles and through protocols.
Closing of punch points.
Contract closing.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Turbine, generator and auxiliaries erections including overseeing civil works as well.
Ensuring health & hygienic stay of the large workforce and compliance to their PF & ESI
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Ensure sequential work fronts are handed over form cross functional depts.

Preferred candidate profile

Total Experience of 20 years or more in thermal plants of which Minimum 10 years should be in management of Steam Turbine in large Power Project.
Experience with 600 MW or higher size is a must
