Lead SDE - Java Backend

As a lead software developer at FreeCharge, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing complex software systems that are delivered to customers successfully. Your responsibilities will include: - Serving as a technical lead on cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of system design - Creating reusable code and libraries for future use - Building highly available, high-performance, and scalable software, with a focus on distributed systems - Upholding code quality standards through unit and integration testing - Mentoring junior developers to enhance their skills and effectiveness as software engineers - Collaborating with technical teams and senior management to gather requirements and communicate software product features, technical designs, and product strategy Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of software development experience using Enterprise Java (JDK 8 and above), Spring (Boot, MVC, AOP, DI), and ORM Frameworks - 2+ years of experience in contributing to architecture and design, including low level design (LLD), high level design (HLD), SOLID principles, design patterns, and scaling - Strong leadership experience in guiding junior developers towards project goals - Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, multithreading, microservices, MVC, and object-oriented programming - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices-based architecture, and complex web application development - Familiarity with agile methodologies, code reviews, and the full software development life cycle - Knowledge of messaging systems like SNS, SQS, Kafka will be considered a plus Join FreeCharge to be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and excellence in software development.,
