Lead Scala Developer

Role Overview: As a Lead Scala Developer with 4 years of development experience, specializing in Akka or LAGOM frameworks, you will be responsible for building scalable microservices using Scala, Akka, and/or LAGOM. Your expertise will be utilized in developing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes. You will also manage real-time messaging with Apache Pulsar and integrate databases using Slick Connector and PostgreSQL. Additionally, your role will involve enabling search and analytics features with ElasticSearch and collaborating with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deployment workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for data-intensive applications, emphasizing high performance, innovation, and clean code. - Work on real-time, distributed systems, requiring a deep understanding of microservices architecture and tools such as Apache Pulsar, ElasticSearch, and Kubernetes. - Collaborate across teams to write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
