Lead QA

As a Lead QA at ImpactQA, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end QA processes for assigned projects. With 9+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, you will utilize your expertise in Functional Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, Team Management, and Defect Management to ensure product quality. Your role will involve creating comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases based on requirements, as well as conducting Automation, Functional, and API Testing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment will be crucial. You will be expected to manage defect tracking and resolution processes using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Asana. Regular QA status meetings, reporting quality metrics, and ensuring timely delivery of testing milestones are key responsibilities. Adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the testing lifecycle is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Automation, Functional, and API Testing, along with expertise in Test Planning, Test Strategy, and Defect Management. Proficiency in test management tools such as Selenium, Java, Playwright, JIRA, ALM, or Asana is required. Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices, will be beneficial in this role. Preferred qualifications include ISTQB or relevant QA certification and experience in automation testing tools.
