Lead Python Developer

The role at Wipro Limited is aimed at designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client end, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and design of the product/software, developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will also investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle, facilitate root cause analysis of system issues, and identify ideas to improve system performance. Furthermore, you will collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to convert client requirements into feasible designs. Your tasks will also include performing coding and ensuring optimal software/module development. This involves evaluating operational feasibility, developing and automating processes for software validation, modifying software to fix errors or improve performance, and preparing reports on programming project specifications. You will be expected to ensure error-free code, compile accurate documentation, and coordinate with the team on project status and progress. Additionally, you will be responsible for status reporting and maintaining a customer focus throughout the project execution. This includes capturing requirements and feedback from the client, participating in training to stay current on best practices, and consulting with engineering staff on software-hardware interfaces. You will also need to document solutions, interact with customers effectively, and respond to customer requests in a timely manner. The key performance parameters for this role include continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software, quality & CSAT metrics, as well as MIS & reporting. The mandatory skill required for this role is Python for Data Science. Experience required for this position is 5-8 years.
