Job Description

As a Lead Product Engineer at Cadence, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of products and technologies, with a significant responsibility for their success. You are expected to become an expert in the Memory domain of Verification IP family, including various protocols such as SDRAM protocols (DDR5), SGRAM protocols (GDDR6), Memory Controller and PHY protocols (DFI), among others. Your main focus will be to accelerate the adoption of Cadence's VIP Portfolio at top-tier customers by providing pre-sales technical support. This will require strong verification expertise and a deep understanding of customer design and verification flows. You will also be responsible for driving product knowledge transfer, providing training, and developing collaterals for field engineers and customers. Additionally, you will translate high-level customer requirements into technical specifications and drive the product definition to meet customer needs. Collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Customer Support, and Field Teams will be essential to ensure alignment across all dimensions of the product. This role involves approximately 20% travel and cross-site collaboration across multiple geographies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead projects with high resource, risk, and/or complexity - Develop and lead large and multiple cross-functional and cross-organizational programs - Evaluate technology effectiveness and data interoperability of complex systems - Manage issue resolution with vendors on tech/product quality and functionality - Communicate highly complex ideas, anticipate objections, and persuade others at senior levels **Experience and Technical Skills Required:** - 4-8 years of experience with Design and Verification - Developing Verification environments using System Verilog - Working knowledge and experience with the UVM methodology - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Familiarity with Memory protocols - Knowledge of the DFI protocol is a plus **Qualifications:** - BTech/BE/MTech/ME or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics & Communication or Computer Science Engineering As a Lead Product Engineer at Cadence, you must possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
