Lead Piping Design Engineer

You will be joining PM Group as a Lead Piping Design Engineer in the Piping Department located in Bangalore. PM Group is a renowned international engineering and architecture firm with a global presence and a dedicated team of over 3,600 professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with various offices, leading a team of designers, conducting design reviews, producing complex piping plans, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications. - Coordinate with other PM Group offices to understand project scope, deliverables, timelines, and hours allocation. - Lead a team of Designers in Bangalore and report progress to the Project office lead. - Participate in Model Design Coordination Meetings and interface with BIM & Design leads. - Produce and check complex piping plans, layouts, sketches, and electronic 3D models. - Generate isometrics from Process P&ID's and review Stress Analysis reports. - Conduct clash checking for pipe clashes and coordinate design with other disciplines and vendors. - Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Possess a minimum of 10 years of piping design experience with 3 to 5 years as a Lead Piping Design Engineer. - Have 3 to 4 years of experience in using Intergraphs SP3D (S3D)/CADWorx/Plant 3D. - Demonstrate experience in managing a team of designers, working remotely on international projects. - Sector experience in Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical projects. - Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is advantageous. - Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills. - Willingness to travel to Europe for 1 to 3 months for selected projects.,
