Lead Network Security Engineer

As a Network and Security Operations Engineer at UST, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the network infrastructure and security operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and threat prevention. - Network Infrastructure: Manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switching and routing (L2/L3), VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP. - Wireless: Deploy and maintain enterprise wireless networks using platforms like Aruba, Fortinet. Troubleshoot coverage and connectivity issues. - Load Balancing: Configure and manage load balancers for application availability, traffic distribution, and SSL offloading. - Proxy Management: Deploy and maintain proxy solutions for secure web access, URL filtering, and logging. - Security Operations: Perform vulnerability assessments, ensure timely fixes, assist in security incident response and log analysis. - Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute firmware and software upgrades for network and security devices. - Monitoring: Utilize network and security monitoring tools for real-time performance. Qualifications Required: - Experience in network and security operations. - Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet firewall platforms. - Strong knowledge of switching, routing, and wireless networking. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, OCI. - Proficiency in vulnerability management, security patching, ITIL/ITSM processes. - Proficient with monitoring and logging tools. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. - Preferred Certifications: CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, ITIL Foundation.
