Job Description

As a Lead, Network Operations at Fiserv, you will be an integral part of the Network Operation Center (NOC) team, responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the hybrid Network Infrastructure for both external customers and internal users. Your role will involve collaborating closely with internal technology teams to lead the technical efforts in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure issues in alignment with the business requirements outlined in SOPs. A high level of collaboration with other technical teams is essential to ensure the agility within the defined delivery process. This position will be based out of Fiserv's India offices, requiring overlapping with US working hours and adherence to the follow-the-sun model, including weekend shifts as part of the 365x12x7 support model. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor a diverse hybrid infrastructure using Fiserv's designated tools and work alongside cross-functional tech teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues. - Engage with various network, FW, and LB platforms such as Nexus, Arista, Versa, F5, Palo Alto, etc. - Conduct in-depth analysis of complex ongoing issues and provide insights to expedite resolutions. - Participate in technical bridge calls to gather essential information for investigating high severity issues. - Contribute to inter-departmental planning meetings to propose solutions for existing issues and suggest systemic and process improvements. - Collaborate with different vendors for circuit-related issues from providers like AT&T, Lumen, Verizon, Park Plaza, TATA, Airtel, etc. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate network issues promptly and engage in automation initiatives to enhance operational maturity. Key Requirements: - Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technology and protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, HTTP, FTP, TCP, and Spanning Tree. - Experience in troubleshooting SDWAN technologies and configuring Cisco switches and routers independently. - Proficiency in troubleshooting WAN and LAN connectivity issues, along with knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, and load balancing concepts (specifically F5/Citrix Load balancers). - Familiarity with Checkpoint, Juniper, or Palo Alto Firewalls is advantageous, along with excellent oral, written, and analytical skills.
