Job Description

As a Lead Network Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our network infrastructure. Your role will involve configuring switches and routers to maximize network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and updating network equipment to the latest firmware. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, and partners to address network incidents and outages, identifying root causes and implementing prevention plans. Key responsibilities include: - Demonstrating a strong understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting network connectivity - Monitoring and optimizing network performance - Investigating and resolving network faults - Providing network status reports to key stakeholders - Serving as an escalation point for shift engineers and resolving internal/external connectivity issues - Collaborating with other teams to analyze impacts and develop resolution strategies - Developing network operation best practices, documentation, and standard operating procedures - Maintaining a positive attitude and effectively communicating ideas - Being available to work in 24/7 shifts Micron Technology is a global leader in memory and storage solutions, dedicated to transforming information into intelligence and empowering individuals to learn, communicate, and progress.
