Lead Kofax Developer

Role & responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Design and lead end-to-end document automation solutions using Kofax Total Agility (KTA) and Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM)

Build and customize document capture, classification, and extraction workflows using C#/.NET scripting

Guide and support junior developers and delivery teams through technical leadership

Manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party applications

Connect and automate data processes with SQL Server for tasks like validation and export

Generate PDF outputs and automate exports to ERP systems, file shares, or email

Monitor workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high performance and uptime

Handle incident response and Level 2/3 support, meeting SLAs and resolving issues quickly

Continuously improve workflows through performance tuning and process optimization

Work with business analysts to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions

Maintain documentation such as design diagrams, support guides, and change logs

Collaborate with RPA teams to integrate Kofax with tools like Automation Anywhere

Support governance, compliance, and deployment (including cloud or hybrid setups on Azure/AWS)

Key Technical Skills & Experience

6 -11 years of experience with Kofax Total Agility (KTA) and Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM)

Strong skills in C#/.NET scripting to extend and customize Kofax functionality

Experience with SQL Server writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance reporting

Familiarity with document import methods (Watch Folder, Mail Import, KIC)

Deep knowledge of document classification, data extraction, and processing logic (invoices, POs, remittances, etc.)

Experience building workflows that include document validation and metadata tracking

Knowledge of OCR and machine learning-based classification techniques

Proven experience in designing and scaling enterprise document processing solutions

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex environments

Previous leadership or mentoring experience in delivery teams

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Able to work independently while leading technical delivery
