The Lead Applications Developer provides leadership in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery is on time and within budget.
You will direct component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position develops and leads AD project activities and integrations. The Lead Applications Developer guides teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.
This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. The Lead Applications Developer will lead junior team members with project related activities and tasks. You will guide and influence department and project teams. This position facilitates collaboration with stakeholders.
Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills Experience working in Agile methodology environment Experience in conducting code reviews At least 8 years of experience with the following technologies -o Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs Experience working with the containerized platformo OpenShift (preferred) - experience deploying services via Jenkins
Strong knowledge and working experience with Angular Strong knowledge and working experience with relation databases like SQL Server, Oracle.
Writing Stored Procedures, performance tuning Experience with Messaging Queues - IBM MQ, Active MQ DevSecOps experience
o Creating Jenkins and/or ADO pipelines from scratcho Sonar scan and jfrog vulnerabilities detection and remediation Highly motivated to learn new technologies Highly experienced in troubleshooting issues, recommend interim and long term solutions Knowledge of integration and performance testing applications
Experience with Production Support GCP Experience (good to have, not required) Ability to lead a small team, provide technical guidance and mentorship; provide provision on design and code quality/standards; ability to manage team members' daily tasks and deliverable to ensure on time delivery with good quality
o Performs detailed design of complex applications and complex architecture componentso May lead a small group of developers in configuring, programming, and testingo Fixes medium to complex defects and resolves performance problems
o Accountable for service commitments at the individual request level for in-scope applicationso Monitors, tracks, and participates ticket resolution for assigned ticketso Manages code reviews and mentors other developers
8+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, leading the development of highly scalable and resilient applications. 6+ years of experience of deep architectural experience with Spring Boot, including experience mentoring others in its best practices and advanced features. 4+ years of Angular 4+ years of leadership experience in adopting new technologies and frameworks, guiding best practices in development methodologies, and overseeing technical project management
