Lead Java Developer

As a Lead Java Developer at Infopark, Kochi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs for healthcare applications. Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing high-performance backend systems using Java (preferably Java 8+). - Building scalable APIs and services that integrate with frontend and third-party systems. - Collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Ensuring code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. - Optimizing application performance and troubleshooting production issues. - Following Agile development methodologies and contributing to sprint planning and reviews. - Documenting technical specifications, workflows, and development processes. - Mentoring junior developers and leading technical discussions where required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot). - Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture. - Solid understanding of Hibernate, SQL, and Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). - Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of performance tuning, memory management, and multithreading. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and error handling mechanisms. - Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or SaaS-based domains. - Familiarity with FHIR standards, ABDM, or NHCX is a strong advantage. - Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.,
