Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and maintain event-driven architectures using
Apache Kafka
Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and Client teams in Agile/Scrum setups
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
Ensure modular, secure, and testable code aligned with clean architecture principles
Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews

Technical Skills:

Expertise in
Java (8 or higher)
,
Spring Boot
, and
RESTful services
Hands-on experience with
Microservices architecture
and
Kafka
(producer/consumer patterns, message streaming, etc.)
Experience with
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, and
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Knowledge of
cloud platforms
like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong database skills with both
SQL
(PostgreSQL, MySQL) and
NoSQL
(MongoDB)
Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication
Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor others
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a hybrid team environment

Desired Candidate Profile:

8–12 years of experience in Java-based backend systems
Recent hands-on experience with Kafka and Microservices
Experience in team or technical leadership roles
Must be
based in Bangalore
or ready to relocate
immediately
Comfortable working
2–3 days/week from client’s office
in Bangalore
Immediate joiners only
Certifications in Java, Kafka, or cloud technologies are a plus
