Lead I - Software Testing

Role Overview: As an SDET at UST, your role involves ensuring adherence to test practices and processes to improve test coverage. You will be responsible for creating test estimates and schedules, identifying business processes, conducting risk analysis, ensuring test coverage, producing test results, defect reports, test logs, and reports for evidence of testing, publishing RCA reports, and preventive measures, reporting progress of testing, and contributing to revenue savings for clients by suggesting alternate methods. Key Responsibilities: - Create Test Estimates and Schedules - Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis, and ensure test coverage - Ensure adherence to processes and standards - Produce test results, defect reports, test logs, and reports for evidence of testing - Publish RCA reports and preventive measures - Report progress of testing - Contribute to revenue savings for clients by suggesting alternate methods - Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, demos, and obtain sign-off by stakeholders for Test Design - Prepare Test summary report for modules/features - Analyze, prioritize, identify gaps, and create workflow diagrams based on Requirements/User stories - Consume, contribute, review (Best Practices, Lesson learned, Retrospective) - Conduct root cause and trend analysis of defects - Identify test scenarios with an understanding of systems, interfaces, and applications - Identify end-to-end business-critical scenarios with minimal support - Create/Review the test scenarios and prepare RTM - Ability to create and manage a test plan - Ability to prepare schedules based on estimates - Ability to track and report progress - Ability to identify test scenarios and prepare RTM - Ability to analyze requirement/user stories and prioritize testing - Ability to carry out RCA - Ability to capture and report metrics Qualifications Required: - Manual Testing - UI Automation & BDD (e.g., Selenium/Playwright, Cucumber/Behave) - Python (Intermediate) - REST API Testing - Performance & Load Testing - Cloud Experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) - CI/CD (GitHub Actions) - Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cosmos DB) About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that works with the world's best companies to make a real impact through transformation.
