Job Description

As a Senior QA Analyst at UST working with a leading financial services client in the US, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in UI and API testing automation. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will be essential as you closely engage with domain and technical experts. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze product test requirements to define effective testing strategies. - Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks. - Conduct functional, regression, UAT, pre-Go Live, and Go-Live testing. - Provide expert support in performance, stress, usability testing, and test automation. - Review and offer feedback on test cases prepared by team members. - Execute software testing across various OS platforms using systems analysis techniques. - Mentor and oversee test analysts and senior test analysts on QA activities. - Collaborate with offshore teams in India and coordinate with Development, Business, and Management teams throughout the SDLC. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance & Testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC, preferably Agile/Scrum/XP. - Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in Sprint Teams. Technical Skills & Experience: - Test Automation: Demonstrated experience in automation (UI & API). - Frameworks & Methodologies: Proficiency in test automation frameworks, BDD, TDD, and Gherkin specifications. - APIs & Data Formats: Familiarity with REST services, JSON, and XML. - Defect Tracking Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, JavaScript, Groovy. - Automation Tools: Knowledge of JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, QTP, FlexUnit, LoadRunner, SoapUI. - Browsers: Proficiency in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer. - Databases: Strong SQL scripting skills with Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Developer, or equivalent tools. - CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Git, Putty, WinSCP. Preferred Experience: - Engaging in or contributing to test automation initiatives. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build automation using Jenkins. - Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities within QA teams. In this role, your primary focus will be on conducting thorough UI and API testing automation and collaborating effectively with various teams to ensure the quality of software products.,
