Lead I - Software Testing - Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer at UST, your role involves developing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases to ensure overall system quality before customer releases. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites with continuous integration to provide valuable feedback. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will derive testing requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test cases for system quality assurance - Design and develop automated test suites with continuous integration - Collaborate with engineering teams to derive testing requirements - Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems for bug diagnosis and troubleshooting - Partner with software developers to create essential software artifacts - Work across functional areas with internal partner engineering teams - Estimate personal testing tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision - Provide technical guidance, training, and leadership to junior testers and developers - Develop and maintain automated test environments using custom frameworks and open-source tools Qualifications Required: - Expertise in automation testing - Proficiency in Selenium for automation - Strong knowledge of Python programming for test automation - Experience with AWS and cloud-based testing environments - Ability to work cross-functionally in a disciplined agile environment - Capability to provide technical mentorship to junior team members - 5-7 years of relevant experience in automation testing and related technologies About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with a mission to partner with clients from design to operation, embedding innovation and agility into their organizations.
