Lead I - Software Testing - Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer at UST based in Trivandrum, Kochi, or Hyderabad, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases to ensure overall system quality before customer releases. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites with continuous integration to provide valuable feedback. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. In this position, you will be tasked with reproducing, debugging, and isolating problems, as well as verifying and confirming fixes. Additionally, you will partner with software developers to create essential software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports. You will work across functional areas with internal partner engineering teams within a disciplined agile environment. As an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 5-7 years of relevant experience, you must have expertise in automation testing, proficiency in Selenium for automation, strong knowledge of Python programming for test automation, and experience with AWS and cloud-based testing environments. Your ability to work cross-functionally, provide technical mentorship to junior team members, estimate personal testing tasks, and work effectively with minimal supervision is essential. Furthermore, you will provide technical guidance, training, and leadership to junior testers and developers, both within and across teams.
