Lead I - Software Engineering (Java Fullstack + Azure)

As a Full Stack Developer at UST, you will be an integral part of the Development team responsible for designing and developing a key Private Equity application. Your role will involve utilizing your technical expertise in Python or Java to create high-quality and scalable solutions. Collaboration with Technology Business Analysts and Project Managers to develop custom requirements and designs will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be involved in building custom solutions based on agreed-upon requirements, designs, and architectures, as well as participating in performance testing. To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in developing user-facing software with a strong foundation in Python or Java (1.8+) and component-based UI frameworks such as AngularJS, ExtJS, or React. Experience in developing finance models and utilizing test-driven development methodologies will be beneficial. Proficiency in SQL, ER modeling, and Messaging Queue is essential, while knowledge of AKS (Azure deployment with GitHub) is mandatory. You should also possess proven skills in designing and building reliable and scalable production services using service-oriented architecture. In addition to your technical skills, excellent analytical and communication skills are crucial for this role. You will be expected to work closely with business users and technical staff, demonstrating self-direction and motivation.
