Role Overview: As a Software Developer, your role involves creatively developing applications and selecting appropriate technical options to optimize application development, maintenance, and performance. You will interpret application/feature/component designs, code, debug, test, and document product/component/feature development stages. Your responsibilities also include validating results with user representatives, selecting technical options for development, and influencing customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will set FAST goals for yourself and your team, providing feedback on team members' goals. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret application/feature/component designs and develop them in accordance with specifications - Code, debug, test, and document product/component/feature development stages - Validate results with user representatives and integrate the overall solution - Select appropriate technical options for development, optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality - Set FAST goals for yourself and your team, providing feedback to team members - Adhere to engineering process and coding standards - Adhere to project schedules and timelines - Review code for team and peers - Create/review templates, checklists, guidelines, and standards for design/process/development - Define and govern configuration management plans - Review and create unit test cases, scenarios, and execution - Advise Software Developers on design and development with a deep understanding of the business problem - Manage delivery of modules and/or user stories - Perform defect RCA and mitigation - Create effort estimation inputs for projects - Consume and contribute to project-related documents and share point libraries - Execute and monitor release processes - Contribute to the creation of designs/architecture for Applications/Features/Business Components/Data Models - Clarify requirements and provide guidance to the development team - Set FAST goals, provide feedback, and ensure team engagement - Take relevant domain/technology certifications Qualification Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in programming languages, DBMS, operating systems, and software platforms - Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methods - Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) and rapid application development (RAD) - Ability to break down complex problems into logical components - Experience in data analysis, data governance practices, and data reporting - Proficiency in SQL, Excel, or other data manipulation tools - Understanding of API-based data integrations and REST/SOAP APIs - ServiceNow certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB or Discovery - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Familiarity with ITIL processes and principles Additional Company Details: The company is looking for a ServiceNow CMDB Data Analyst to manage and analyze Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data in ServiceNow.
