Lead I - Software Engineering - C++

Role Overview: As a software developer at UST, you will be responsible for interpreting application/feature/component designs and developing them in accordance with specifications. You will code, debug, test, document, and communicate product/component/feature development stages, ensuring validation with user representatives and integration of the overall solution. Your role will involve selecting appropriate technical options for development, optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality, and influencing and improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will set FAST goals for yourself and your team, providing feedback to team members" FAST goals. Key Responsibilities: - Adhere to engineering process and standards (coding standards) - Adhere to project schedule/timelines - Uncover and address technical issues during project execution - Identify and address defects in the code, both pre and post-delivery - Ensure on-time completion of mandatory compliance trainings - Code as per design and follow coding standards - Review code for team and peers - Create/review templates, checklists, guidelines, and standards for design/process/development - Create/review deliverable documents including design documentation, requirements, and test cases/results - Define and govern configuration management plan, ensuring team compliance - Review and create unit test cases, scenarios, and execution - Contribute to the creation of design/architecture for applications/features/business components/data models - Manage delivery of modules/user stories, defects, and knowledge sharing - Estimate effort for projects and provide input for effort estimation - Execute and monitor release process Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of C and C+, K-ON, and Java - Proficiency in explaining and communicating design/development to customers - Ability to break down complex problems into logical components - Experience in developing user interfaces and business software components - Familiarity with data models and estimating time/effort for features/components - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Knowledge of software programs/modules, functional and technical designing, programming languages, DBMS, operating systems, software platforms, SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban methods, IDE, RAD, modelling technology and languages, IDL, and customer domain understanding (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
