Job Description

You will be responsible for independently handling test deliverables and deadline management, coordinating with and building the team for a given project. Your role will involve working closely with customers to ensure there are no escalations, coordinating effectively with the team, conducting technical interviews for project requirements, performing validation and root cause analysis, and isolating/packetizing failures to correct components. Additionally, you will be attending customer meetings and effectively communicating on requirements/results, locating product failures and reporting them in the test repository and bug tracker, and learning technology business domain system domain individually as well as recommended by the project/account. Completing certifications for the role, such as ISTQB UST GAMMA certifications, and ensuring that product and validation comply with defined SLAs will also be part of your responsibilities. Your performance will be measured based on defect triaging, adherence to schedule and timelines, number of post-delivery defects, number of non-compliance issues, SLA turnaround of production bugs, defining productivity standards for the project, and completion of all mandatory training requirements. Your expected outputs will include managing project tasks and deliverables with quality and targeting completion within the timeframe, estimating time effort and resource dependence for your own work and others" work, creating component level/product behavior documents, test reporting templates, BKMs, and knowledge sharing documents for the team, reporting status of assigned tasks, compliance with validation standards and processes, and mentoring senior validation engineers through on-the-job facilitations and hosting classroom training sessions for junior validation engineers. Some of the key skills required for this role include good presentation skills and diplomacy, bug advocacy skills, automation scripting skills, performing severity and priority identification of raised sightings, estimating effort time required for work, and evaluating tests in the customer or target environment. Additionally, you should be able to work in a team environment, possess good written and verbal communication abilities, and have good analytical skills. Knowledge examples that would be beneficial for this role include understanding the product lifecycle and deadlines, excellent domain knowledge, good CPU/GPU architecture knowledge, and very good knowledge of the product. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in customer support or software-hardware testing, including at least 2 years of customer support experience. Hands-on experience in graphics validation and triaging, troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues, deep understanding of the Windows OS, extensive scripting using Python, deep knowledge of PC architecture, supercomputers, and computer clusters, experience with debugging tools, memory dump analysis, and remote debug, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects independently are also necessary. A strong interest in or knowledge of CUDA, OpenCL, and deep learning AI, as well as good written and verbal communication skills, are essential. Finally, the candidate should be willing to work flexible hours.,
