Lead I - Java+ Kafka Developer

Role Overview: As a skilled Java + Kafka Developer at UST, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka. You will work with a talented team to create scalable and high-performance solutions for our clients, contributing to lasting change and impacting billions of lives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch. - Implement microservices-based architecture for enterprise applications. - Integrate and collaborate with event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka. - Utilize RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrate with third-party systems. - Proficient in GCP services such as Cloud Spanner and Cloud Scheduler. - Write optimized SQL queries for efficient data retrieval. - Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure CI/CD and testing processes are followed effectively. Qualification Required: - Over 5 years of hands-on experience as an Intermediate or Senior Java Developer. - Strong expertise in relational and non-relational databases. - Solid understanding of distributed system architectures. - Proficient in Spring Boot, Java, Microservices, Kafka, and GCP services. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and event-driven architectures.
