Job Description

Job Description: As a skilled Java + Kafka Developer at UST, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka. Your expertise in relational and non-relational databases, along with a solid understanding of distributed system architectures, will be key in ensuring the scalability and performance of the applications you build. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch. - Build and maintain a microservices-based architecture for enterprise applications. - Integrate and collaborate with event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka. - Utilize your familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with third-party systems. - Apply your experience in GCP - Cloud Spanner, Cloud Scheduler. - Write optimized SQL queries to enhance application performance. - Collaborate effectively with DevOps and QA teams to ensure adherence to CI/CD and testing processes. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Intermediate or Senior Java Developer. - Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, Microservices, and Kafka. - Strong expertise in relational and non-relational databases. - Solid understanding of distributed system architectures. - Experience with GCP services like Cloud Spanner and Cloud Scheduler is a plus.
