Lead Frontend Developer

As a Lead Frontend Developer at IBA, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and enhance dynamic, responsive, and interactive web applications using Angular. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and project managers to translate business requirements into high-quality web solutions. Your role will also involve defining the frontend architecture, constructing scalable UI platforms, and advocating for development best practices across teams. Your key responsibilities will include architecting, designing, and leading the development of scalable and maintainable Angular applications. You will establish and enforce frontend architecture standards, create and maintain shared UI libraries and design systems, and collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and data flow strategies. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of best practices in Angular development, own the technical roadmap for frontend architecture, and mentor frontend engineers. To excel in this role, you must have at least 8 years of hands-on experience with Angular, strong expertise in TypeScript, RxJS, and modern JavaScript, and a proven track record of designing and implementing component-based architectures. You should also possess a deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and security best practices, as well as proficiency in state management libraries and responsive UI principles. Experience in mentoring developers, working in Agile/Scrum environments, and real-time communication technologies will be beneficial. While not mandatory, experience in the medical or healthcare industry, familiarity with CI/CD for frontend, automated testing, and deployment pipelines, knowledge of Java and/or C# / .NET, and understanding of UX design principles are considered nice-to-have qualifications.
