Lead Frontend Developer

As a Lead Frontend Developer specializing in React.js and Next.js, your main role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. Key responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and performant web applications using React.js and Next.js - Building and managing reusable components and front-end libraries - Handling server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes using Next.js - Integrating REST APIs using fetch and axios - Managing application state using Redux (Redux Toolkit preferred) - Handling DOM manipulation for dynamic UI behaviors - Configuring and optimizing build systems using Webpack - Ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility with HTML/CSS - Collaborating with backend teams to define and integrate APIs - Conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and enforcing best practices - Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in frontend and DevOps ecosystems Qualifications required for this role include: - 5-10 years of frontend development experience - Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Next.js - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) - Deep understanding of React.js fundamentals, hooks, and lifecycle methods - Experience with DOM manipulation and browser APIs - Proficiency in Redux, Webpack, and Babel - Skilled in writing semantic, responsive HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS - Experience integrating REST APIs using fetch and axios - Basic understanding or experience with DevOps tools and practices - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus Soft skills that would be beneficial for this role include strong problem-solving and debugging skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, and comfort in agile and fast-paced environments.
