Job Description

Key Deliverables:

Design and validate locomotive subsystems including mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hybrid power systems
Conduct thermo-mechanical performance analysis and root cause investigations using simulation tools
Apply DFM, DFR, and DFSS principles for reliability and manufacturability in locomotive design
Lead system builds, in-factory validation, and field testing with customer engagement

Role Responsibilities:

Perform stress, thermal, and vehicle dynamics analysis using Ansys, ADAMS, and GT Power
Optimize engine performance for power, emissions, and fuel efficiency
Support testing and validation in labs and field locations for subsystem reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design execution and project delivery
