Job Description

Role Overview: You are a Lead Backend Engineer with 6+ years of experience in backend application development, possessing strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. Your role will involve designing scalable APIs and services, building cloud-native backend systems, and integrating them into modern CI/CD pipelines (specifically GitLab). Collaboration across teams to deliver resilient, high-quality systems and driving engineering best practices will be key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. - Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end product features. - Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems. - Implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning. - Ensure performance, security, and scalability across all backend systems. - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high system availability. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in backend development. - 1+ year of relevant hands-on experience with Kotlin and strong proficiency in Java. - Expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem. - Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitLab CI. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. - Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.,
