Lead Engineer - Testing

As an Automation Engineer (Software Test Analyst Senior) at FIS, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge solutions for financial services and technology. Your primary responsibilities will include: - UI Automation using Java and Java Selenium and API Testing - Performance Testing using JMeter or any other tool for creating performance baselines and trends - Requirement analysis, test plan design, test data preparation, and test automation framework creation - Defect reporting and tracking, stakeholder engagement, CI/CD implementation, and identifying automation opportunities - Automation of test scenarios and manual tasks using innovative ideas - Collaboration with stakeholders, clients, and global teams for automation solutions - Understanding product functionalities, participating in solution design, and driving testing activities - Evaluating and engineering test data for software development life cycle - Executing functional, regression, performance, usability, integration, and acceptance testing - Working closely with developers and BAs for issue resolution and change implementation - Implementing quality processes, maintaining document repository, and mentoring junior team members You should have: - Hands-on experience in Automation Framework Design with Java and Selenium, CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GIT - Expertise in Selenium automation, Java J2EE, and functional testing - Knowledge of QA processes, test case management tools, and version control tools - Understanding of capital markets domain, financial software, SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX/Linux commands - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines, and effective communication skills Desirable skills include knowledge of SCRUM, experience in performance and non-functional testing.
