Lead Engineer - Steering & Front Axle

1. Design and development of Electric Steering system (column or rack mounted) for independent suspension lifestyle commercial platform.


2. Design and development of Hydraulic Steering system for independent suspension lifestyle commercial platform.


3. Design and development of Front wheel end system for 2WD and 4WD platforms.


4. Deliver Steering and Front wheel end aggregates as per QCDW (Quality, cost, delivery, weight) for projects.


5. Resolve field / Mfg concerns


6. Leading a team of people


7. DFMEA, Design review, DVP generation, analysis using G8D technique


8. Vehicle level and component level DVP requirements


9. Interact with CAE, CDMM, validation for aggregate development


10. Interact with suppliers for proprietary part design and development


11. Root cause analysis and concern resolution.


12. Aware of Homologation and regulatory requirements.


13. Build technology roadmap on the above aggregates and execute potential ideas

10. Knowledge on Failure analysis and problem solving.

11. Knowledge on Sheet metal, castings & forgings design & manufacturing process.

12. Knowledge on DFM, DFA, DFS

13. Sheet metal, castings & forging part design & manufacturing process knowledge.

14. Result orientation with execution excellence.

15. CAD knowledge (Catia & Team centre PLM)
