Lead Engineer - Cloud Specialist

As an experienced IT professional, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Fresh deployment/implementation of virtualization platforms. - Troubleshoot L3 level issues escalated by L1/L2 team. - Upgrade of Hypervisor/Platform. - Handling Nutanix/Hyper-V/KVM Hypervisor. - Troubleshooting upgrade issues and performing roll back if required. - Managing patching of servers using tools. - Supporting upgrade planning and developing upgrade SOPs for L1 team. - Acting as an escalation point for L1 team and assisting them in issue resolution. - Automating infrastructure via Ansible to facilitate quick and easy deployment. - Administering the cluster. - Setting up VMs and other services. - Documenting the architecture and related components. - Setting up disaster recovery between two sites. - Assisting in change management of the platform for new versions of Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc. - Managing cluster capacity and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts. - Collaborating with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis, review new and existing code, and perform unit testing. - Authoring/editing system documentation/playbook(s). - Mentoring less experienced internal and third-party team members on procedural matters.
