The Lead Developer Azure Integration Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Create solutions that leverage the .net technology stack.
• Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, key stakeholders, and team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement scalable integration solutions using Azure Integration Services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory and Azure API Management.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of integration solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers and business analysts.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure technologies and integrate them into projects where appropriate.
• Take ownership and responsibility of the end-to-end delivery of integration solutions using platforms such as Azure Devops pipelines, Terraform.
• Document technical information relating to integration processes, configurations, and solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on integration services.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure API Management).
• Experience in Netsuite and ERP is must. 
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, specifically within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and other integration technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Leadership experience, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of API design best practices and clean code development approaches.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Desirable but not essential

Experience and Knowledge of:

• Azure Application Development.  Full stack development (Largely backend work)
• Azure Business Intelligence.  Leveraging Azure to create an Enterprise Business Intelligence platform.
