Lead - Designer

As an Interior Designer - Workplace at Space Matrix, you will play a crucial role in designing corporate/workplace interior projects. Your responsibilities will include: - **Strategizing and developing design solutions** that align with assigned programs, budgets, and client objectives. - **Managing and contributing to multiple projects**, including pre-design services such as feasibility studies and defining design requirements. - **Collaborating with the design team** to ensure smooth progression of projects from one phase to the next, maintaining quality, budget, and schedule integrity. - **Leading and participating in project meetings** and client presentations to ensure effective communication and stakeholder alignment. - **Overseeing design management and coordination** with internal teams and external stakeholders as required. - **Conducting quality control reviews of design documentation** and monitoring project team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness. - **Participating in client work sessions** and design reviews to incorporate feedback into project development. - **Traveling as needed** for project presentations, coordination meetings, and site visits. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - **10+ years of experience** working on Commercial interior/Corporate Interiors/Workplace design projects and managing a team. - **Strong design sensibility** and technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution. - **Team player** with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile. - **Multi-tasking ability**, with excellent time management and organizational skills. - **Registered Diploma or Degree** in Interior Design or Architecture. - **Excellent knowledge** of design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop.
