Lead Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build
ETL/ELT pipelines
using Python.
Architect and implement scalable
data solutions on GCP
.
Work with
GCP services
like:

Dataflow
(real-time/batch processing)
BigQuery
(data warehouse)
Cloud Functions
,
Cloud Composer (Airflow)
,
Cloud Storage
,
Cloud Run
,
IAM

Develop and manage
data ingestion, transformation, and quality validation
processes.
Use
Apache Spark
,
Kafka
,
Airflow
,
FastAPI
, and
Redis/MongoDB
in data workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, analytics, BI).
Manage
version control (GitHub)
and
CI/CD
pipeline deployments.
Write and optimize
SQL
queries for data extraction and validation.
Document data pipeline architecture and processes.

Required Skills:

10–12 years of IT experience with strong
Python
programming skills.
Hands-on experience with
GCP services
(Dataflow, BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions, etc.).
Strong knowledge of
ETL/ELT design
, data integration, and transformation.
Experience with
Apache Spark
,
Kafka
,
Airflow
,
Redis
,
FastAPI
.
Proficient in
SQL
and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Experience with
GitHub
,
CI/CD
, and
GKE/Cloud Run deployments
.
Knowledge of
data migration
from on-prem to cloud.

Good to Have:

Experience with
Snowflake
or
Databricks

Familiarity with
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
or Azure data tools.
