Lead Consultant-front Arena

You are being hired for the position of Lead Consultant-Front Arena (Python) in Pune with mandatory requirements in the domains of Finance, Trading, or Banking and a work experience of 5-9 years. Your responsibilities will include performing technical analysis, designing, and customizing various Front Arena projects. You should have a good understanding of the FA database schema and utilize Python to extract XML messages for confirmation generation. Custom logic development is required using ADFL for reports and custom columns. Configuration of various Front Arena components such as ADS, ATS, and AMBA is essential. You will also need to develop and test standard FA interfaces with 3rd party systems like market data providers, trade booking systems, and downstream systems. Being able to drive technical requirements and solution approach independently is crucial. A basic understanding of financial instruments and trade life cycles is necessary. Providing training on various Front Arena components, creating deployment documents, and offering technical consultation on projects to clients are part of the job. You will also be required to provide consultation on creating test plans and executing various tests like performance tests, network security tests, SIT, and regression tests. The position demands 5-9 years of working experience in the software industry, particularly as a software developer in financial institutions or IT companies. Hands-on experience with technologies like Python, C++/.Net, scripting, XML/XSLT, and Microsoft SQL Server with T-SQL is required. Experience with Front Arena development, exposure to AEF framework and ADFL, and knowledge of software versioning and source code control technologies are advantageous. You should be able to multitask on simultaneous projects, learn fast, work independently, and be a good team player with domain knowledge in financial services and investment banking. Additionally, excellent communication and organizational skills are needed, along with proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Experience working in a production environment and providing disaster recovery/business continuity support is expected. Your educational qualifications for this role can include a degree in B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, MCA, B.E, or B.Tech.
