Lead Cloud Strategy

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior architects and business stakeholders to define and refine the organization’s

  cloud strategy

  in the telecom domain.
• Lead small to mid-sized cloud transformation initiatives from a technical strategy perspective.
• Evaluate current telecom IT and network infrastructure for cloud migration opportunities.
• Support the design and deployment of hybrid/multi-cloud architectures integrating OpenStack, OpenShift, and public cloud solutions.
• Assist in building cloud-native platforms for telecom workloads including VNF/CNF orchestration and management.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet compliance, security, and performance standards aligned with telecom regulations.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging cloud technologies relevant to telco environments.
• Contribute to the development of proof-of-concepts (PoCs), solution demos, and customer proposals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in

  cloud infrastructure

  and/or

  cloud strategy roles

  .
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack (deployment, orchestration, lifecycle management).
• Working knowledge of OpenShift for containerized workloads and DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in networking technologies, IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewalling.
• Understanding of telecom architecture (5G, 4G, NFV, SDN) and cloud-native evolution.
• Understanding of Telco MPBN Architecture (IP Networking).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist (OpenShift), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS/GCP/Azure cloud certifications.
• Experience in telco network transformation (e.g., 5G core, edge computing, MEC).
• Proficiency in networking technologies, IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewalling.
• Exposure to CI/CD, GitOps, and SRE practices in telecom environments.
