About the Role

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain

  AWS cloud infrastructure

  with high availability and reliability.
• Work extensively on

  Kubernetes

  , including creating, managing, and customizing

  CRDs (Custom Resource Definitions)

  .
• Implement and manage

  orchestration workflows

  and infrastructure automation.
• Work with

  Crossplane

  to provision and manage cloud resources declaratively.
• Develop internal tools, platforms, and

  Internal Developer Portals (IDPs)

  to improve developer productivity and platform efficiency.
• Develop automation scripts and backend components using

  Python / Java / Go

  .
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to streamline cloud and platform operations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  AWS services

  (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Deep understanding of

  Kubernetes architecture

  , CRDs, operators, admission controllers, and cluster management.
• Experience with

  Crossplane

  for resource provisioning and orchestration.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages:

  Python, Java, Go

  .
• Strong experience building internal platforms, automations, and

  developer tools

  .
• Good knowledge of IaC tools like

  Terraform

  , Helm, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, containers (Docker), and microservices concepts.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Knowledge of service mesh (Istio / Linkerd).
• Experience in SRE or platform engineering environments.
• Exposure to Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
