Job Description: As a member of the Operations team at Standard Chartered in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the delivery of the Group and TTO strategy. You will collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with the organization's strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include running the automation agenda across Operations, managing engagements with the T&I teams, and delivering on the agenda for Continuous Improvements. You will also be responsible for managing costs within Budgets/Forecasts/ PEDs and spends for automation, including engaging with automation partners to conduct cost benefit analysis for automation opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage projects related to automation agenda in adherence to project governance requirements and end-to-end governance - Assure project governance is in place, monitor adherence to the methodology, and support Project Managers in all PMO aspects - Act as a management representative, execute management guidelines through continuous intervention and management reporting, and escalate issues to management when necessary - Work closely with internal stakeholders and key leadership managements in all aspects of governance and P&L accounting - Deliver high-quality reporting to project stakeholders, senior management, and clients - Keep up to date with changes to banking & technology products - Groom and support colleagues working on the project - Analyze, interpret, and monitor operations risk, and suggest mitigation techniques to reduce risk - Identify early warning signals, initiate remedial action, and anticipate and detect fraud to take preventive measures - Establish prevention and detection internal controls with an end-to-end perspective and use internal/external audit findings to improve service excellence - Ensure adherence to the governance requirements laid down under the project Qualifications: - Education: Graduate or Post Graduate - Training: Agile Product Owner About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
