Role Overview: As an experienced and skilled Freelancer Carpenter, your role will involve executing customized carpentry and woodwork projects on a contractual basis. You should be proficient in handling residential, commercial, and office furniture/interior work with precision, speed, and quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: - Execute carpentry work including cutting, assembling, installing, polishing, and repairing furniture, fixtures, and wooden structures. - Handle on-site work such as modular furniture installation, partition works, ceiling panels, wooden flooring, and customized cabinetry. - Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure timely and quality project delivery. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design specifications provided by architects/designers. - Ensure safe use of tools, machinery, and materials. - Maintain quality standards and deliver projects within deadlines. - Collaborate with project managers/designers for adjustments and finishing details. - Handle minor civil/finishing works related to wood installations if required. Qualification Required: - Proven experience as a carpenter with a portfolio of completed projects. - Must have a dedicated and skilled team of carpenters/helpers. - Strong knowledge of wood types, joinery, polishing, laminates, veneers, and modular fittings. - Ability to read technical drawings and measure accurately. - Must have own tools and equipment (preferred). - Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects. - Knowledge of safety procedures and site discipline.
