You are a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter sought by our interior design team. Your role involves crafting, assembling, and installing wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures based on design specifications. Collaborating with designers, architects, and team members is crucial to ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and timely project completion. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for interior projects. You will measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials for various furniture and decorative elements. Installation of wooden structures, partitions, doors, windows, and custom furniture according to project requirements is also part of your duties. Repairing or refurbishing existing furniture and woodwork when necessary will be required. Operating power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently is essential. Collaboration with designers, architects, and site supervisors is expected to ensure precision and quality. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized workspace while following safety regulations and company standards is mandatory. Conducting quality checks to ensure the final product meets design specifications is also crucial. To excel in this role, you need proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in the interior design or furniture industry. Proficiency in working with wood, laminates, MDF, and other materials is required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements, skilled in using carpentry tools, machines, and finishing techniques, attention to detail, and craftsmanship are essential qualities. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess knowledge of safety standards and best practices in woodworking. Preferred qualifications include experience with modular furniture and interior fit-outs, as well as familiarity with CNC machines and modern carpentry tools.
