Lead Branch Banking Audit

Role Overview: As an Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in participating in audits of various businesses, focusing on Product/Operations audits. Your responsibilities will include assisting in planning, designing, and implementing risk-based audit plans to uphold the safety and soundness of the Bank. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of assigned audits, documenting work papers, and tracking the status of reported issues. Additionally, you will assist in benchmarking relevant processes to Best Practices and peer banks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning, designing, and implementing risk-based audit plans - Ensure completion of assigned audits and timely documentation of work papers - Track the status of reported issues and assist in benchmarking processes - Devise audit checklists for internal/concurrent Auditors and test products, processes, and procedures - Provide improvement suggestions to existing processes/systems to line management - Provide oversight to the Concurrent Audit process, including submission of reports, update of checklists, review of audit issues, and follow-up on rectification Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in auditing or related field - Strong understanding of risk-based audit plans and processes - Excellent attention to detail and ability to document work papers accurately - Good communication skills to provide improvement suggestions and oversight - Ability to work collaboratively with internal and concurrent auditors (Note: The contact details provided at the end of the job description have been omitted per privacy considerations),
