Lead BI Developer

Experienced Lead BI Developer As a Lead BI Developer at our organization based in Chennai, India, you will be an integral part of our international team dedicated to developing new and existing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the BI Team Leader in Chennai, BI developers, architects, internal customers, and other IT developers to create and maintain efficient BI solutions. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into technical solutions, designing, building, and deploying BI and analytics solutions, conducting thorough testing to ensure quality and accuracy, maintaining business analytics platforms, and adhering to Data Governance policies. You will be expected to ensure optimal performance of all analytics and BI solutions, create and update technical documentation, troubleshoot and resolve defects, collaborate with other teams for system integration, and drive the successful delivery of application features within specified timelines. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or possess equivalent education and relevant work experience. You should have a total of 9 to 13 years of work experience, with a minimum of 6 years specializing as a Business Intelligence Developer. Proficiency in English language communication, both verbal and written, is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical documents and standards. In terms of computer skills, you should be adept at using MS Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have familiarity with operating systems such as Windows. The role primarily involves working in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and occasional travel, including international travel, may be required. Legal eligibility to work in the country of hire and possession of a valid passport are mandatory.
