Must have:
Python (5+ years), AWS (preferred), Flask, Django, or FastAPI, WSGI/ASGI web servers, CI/CD tools and practices
Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
Experience with WSGI/ASGI web servers (Gunicorn, Uvicorn, etc.)
Solid understanding of asynchronous and concurrent programming (AsyncIO)
Experience with unit and functional testing frameworks
Experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS preferred)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Ability to collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams
Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations
Nice to have:
Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka client development in Python
Experience with MLOps platforms (AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, MLflow)
Experience with big data processing frameworks, especially Apache Spark
Experience with container orchestration platforms (AWS ECS, AWS EKS)
Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Jenkins)
Knowledge of Python packaging and distribution tools (Wheel, PEX, Conda)
