Dear All, We are hiring for an immediate role Lead Back End Engineer We are looking to build an excellent team of engineers with importance given to quality over quantity. As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS for mfine.co. Experience as a Tech Lead, managing tasks with back-end engineers while coding themselves will be a bonus point for the ideal candidate. In this role, you will be Building innovative solutions in healthcare using state-of-the-art technologies. Work with product managers, software engineers and UI designers to implement products and test their impact to business metrics Work closely with a cross functional team of engineers to design and develop new systems/architectures geared towards performance and scale Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning and optimisation Work closely with infrastructure team in building and scaling back-end services as well as performing root-cause analysis investigations Participate in the broader engineering life cycle to elevate software quality standards through design discussions, code reviews and reusable tools and frameworks Requirements 4+ experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment with a track record of designing, developing and implementing large scale highly available online services. Proficient in multiple languages and willing to work on our tech stack that primarily uses Node js /Java. Strong hold in data structures, algorithms and their runtime complexities as well as object-oriented and functional programming concepts Bias towards engineering best practices like testing, continuous integration, containerization, blue-green deployments, secrets management etc. Experience with relational and non-relational databases as well as distributed caches and queues, including clustering and high-availability configurations Proven track-record of building and operating large-scale, high-throughput, low-latency production systems Good knowledge in high-level system architecture design and low-level details on how framework/platform works Solid understanding of architectural trade-offs in designing APIs and Microservices, database modelling, software design and development in cloud native environments Graduation/post-graduation computers/Engineering from a reputed institute.
