Lead Azure Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Lead Azure Data Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience to join our team at Syneos Health, playing a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data architectures that meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses and data lakes on Azure Storage solutions like Blobs, Files, and Databases.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data.
• Optimize data processing workflows to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to data engineering and provide timely resolutions.

• Strong expertise in Azure Data Engineering, including ADF, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Storage.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C#.
• Excellent understanding of cloud-based architecture principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
