Lead Audio Software Engineer - C++

Role Overview: As an experienced software engineer at Logitech | G, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead the Audio Software Development team, focusing on developing and deploying audio features for gaming products. Your passion for gaming and audio technologies, along with expertise in writing high-quality code, will be instrumental in driving the architecture, design, and development efforts for new audio-related features. Working closely with firmware, software, design, and validation teams, as well as key stakeholders outside of Engineering, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely delivery of quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing key software components for Logitech's audio gaming peripherals - Collaborating with firmware and design teams to define software features and ensuring overall software quality with validation teams - Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on software deliverables - Conducting technical reviews of system design and interface requirements, as well as code reviews - Providing guidance and feedback to peers, including mentoring junior developers - Creating unit tests and CI automation tests, and maintaining comprehensive design documentation Qualification Required: - 8+ years of software development experience - Strong design and development experience in C++, proficiency in Python is a plus - Familiarity with audio system technologies commonly used in headset, speaker, and microphone products - Experience with audio drivers and audio processing pipelines for Windows and macOS - Knowledge of audio testing methodologies - Understanding of the inter-dependencies between hardware, firmware, desktop and mobile applications, and cloud software - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills Education: - B.E in Computer Science/IT or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience (Note: No additional details of the company were found in the provided job description),
