Lead Application Developer - Angular/Node JS with Google Cloud Experience

Role Overview: As a Technical Lead at a Fortune Global 500 organization like UPS, you will provide leadership in full systems life cycle management to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery. Your role will involve directing component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. You will also be responsible for leading systems analysis and design, developing applications, defining integration builds, monitoring emerging technology trends, and providing maintenance and support. Key Responsibilities: - Guide and mentor a team of developers in leading the design and development of complex, scalable applications. - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Angular/Node.js frameworks. - Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, and Pub/Sub. - Design and implement microservices-based architectures and manage communication between them. - Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ORMs. - Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using tools like Docker and GitHub Actions. - Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to define and deliver new features. Qualifications: - 14+ years of experience in Angular/Node.js, TypeScript, GCP services, containerization, APIs, databases, and leadership. - Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field is preferred.
