Job Description - Lead Engineer - Front End

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-end team in creating and maintaining web applications.
• Work with designers, backend developers, and product managers to produce top-quality products.
• Make sure UI/UX designs are technically possible.
• Improve applications for speed and efficiency.
• Follow best practices and coding standards.
• Review code and offer feedback to team members.
• Manage technical debts and keep them low.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Mentor and support other developers.

Requirements

Generic Skills

• Demonstrated excellence as a Front-End Developer.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Superior communication and leadership skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects seamlessly.

Core Technical Skills

• Mastery in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise with responsive and adaptive design.
• Advanced skills with Angular 14+ and TypeScript. Should be capable enough to build native web components.
• Expertise writing unit tests in Karma/Jasmine or Jest.
• Hands-on experience in developing web applications with accessibility, familiarity with WCAG guidelines.
• Ability to develop high-performance web applications.
• Strong command of version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of code quality analysis tools like Linters, SonarQube, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices.
• Should be capable in writing proper documentation.

Good to have

• Knowledge in visual test automation tools.
• Experience with React or other frameworks.
• Experience with Adobe experience manager.
