Lead Analyst - IPR Legal

As an IP Search Analyst at TVS Motor Company's Hosur Plant, your main responsibility will be to review new product development designs and identify potential areas of intellectual property legal risk. You will be required to plan and execute IP checks, mitigate risks, develop search strategies, and analyze searches for invalidation, opposition, and litigation purposes. You will also need to ensure freedom to operate for TVS-M designs, collaborate with technical teams to overcome IP challenges, and conduct advanced technology and competitive intelligence analysis. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and taking action to de-risk the intellectual property rights of TVS-M designs and products, performing advanced patent and competitor portfolio analyses, and working closely with IP attorneys to provide timely legal opinion reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting BOM freedom to operate reviews, implementing best practices, standardizing processes, enhancing productivity through digitalization, and releasing periodic IP alerts. To excel in this role, you should possess strong product and engineering knowledge, proficiency in information search analytics and analytical tools, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of IP legal concepts.
