Job Description

As a Lead AI/ML Engineer at our company, your primary responsibilities will include problem formulation from business to data science perspective, validating OKRs against statistical measures, data wrangling, data storytelling, insight generation, problem-solving, Excel VBA, data curiosity, technical decision-making, effective communication (both vocal and written), business acumen to quickly grasp new domains through data, design thinking, and data literacy. Your key responsibilities as a Document AI Engineer will involve: - Designing, deploying, and maintaining automated invoice extraction pipelines using GCP Document AI. - Developing custom model training workflows for documents with non-standard formats. - Preprocessing and uploading document datasets to Cloud Storage. - Labeling documents using DocAI Workbench or JSONL for training. - Training and evaluating custom processors using AutoML or custom schema definitions. - Integrating extracted data into downstream tools such as BigQuery and ERP systems. - Writing robust, production-grade Python code for end-to-end orchestration. - Maintaining CI/CD deployment pipelines. - Ensuring secure document handling and compliance with data policies. The required skills and experience for this role include: - Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly in Document AI, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Vertex AI (preferred). - Proficiency in Python, including Google Cloud SDK libraries. - Familiarity with OCR and schema-based information extraction. - Understanding of security best practices for handling financial documents. Preferred qualifications for this position: - Previous experience with projects involving invoice or document parsing. - Familiarity with BigQuery for analytics and reporting.,
